Roy Silvester Biddy

Roy Silvester Biddy, age 68, of Alpharetta, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Roy has been a Minister of the Gospel since 1972 and was the pastor at Heavenly Harvest Church. Besides being an avid Atlanta Braves fan, Roy loved vacationing with his family, hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lindel Biddy and sister, Janice Donaldson.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Georgia Biddy; daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Scott Carpenter; brothers and sisters, Waymon Biddy, Mary Stewart, Brenda (Roger) Brumbelow, Johnny Ray (Diane) Biddy, Benny Joe (Linda) Biddy, Shelia (Don) Cauthen, Kathy (Dale) McClung, Stacy Ray, Timmy (Leesa) Biddy; grandchildren, Austin Shadburn, Jeremy Carpenter, Josh Carpenter and other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey Brogdon, Rev. Larry Nichols, Rev. Mark Biddy and Rev. James Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
