Stanley Wade

Mr. Stanley Wade, 70, of Gainesville, GA. passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013.



Born in Hall County, GA. on May 26, 1942, he was the son of the late Isaac Elzie and Kate Bell Ledford Wade. He was a self employed painter for more than 40 years. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.



In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.



He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathy Wade of Gainesville; daughters and sons in law, Angie and Stan Liss of Oakwood, Julie and Chad Bowmar of Gainesville; grandchildren, Ethan Bowmar, Kyle Bowmar, Kara Bowmar all of Gainesville, Samantha Liss, Zachary Liss, Adam Liss all of Oakwood; sisters, Millie Whitworth of Gainesville, Bernice Brown of Morristown, TN, Sylvia Timney of Pontiac, MI and several nieces nephews other relatives and friends.



Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Baker will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
