Evelyn Cowart Little

Evelyn Cowart Little, 83, of Cumming passed away Friday May 10, 2013 at her residence.

Born December 13, 1929 in Forsyth County to the late Gilbert and Faye Cowart, she lived most of her life in Cumming. A homemaker at her death, Mrs. Little was formerly employed at Sears, Parsons, and Cumming Hardware. She was a member of Hightower Baptist Church and attended Kilough Church by the Lake. Evelyn was also preceded in death by her husband, George W. Little; son, Donnie H. Little; and a sister, Lorene Fox.

Surviving are her children, Deborah and Doug Ramey, Cumming, Vickie and Philip Fields, Duluth, Jackie and Jerry Barrett, Cumming, Jennifer and Rich Lyness, Dawsonville, Sandra and Jeff hardy, Cumming, Georgia Hawkins, Dawsonville; sister and brother in law, Doris and Ray Dangar, Canton; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday May 12, 2013 at 5 o'clock at Kilough Church by the Lake. Dr. Jeff Burrell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
