Charles 'Chuck' William Brislin

Charles "Chuck" William Brislin, age 59, of Suwanee, passed away, May 11, 2013.

Chuck was born and raised in Columbus, MS. He was very active in sports during his youth. He became an Eagle Scout and was an Acolyte at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Chuck graduated high school from Heritage Academy in Columbus, MS, and received a full football scholarship from Mississippi State University from 1972 until 1976. During those years, he was a member of the Sun Bowl teams in 1974 and 1976.

Chuck was a loving father and husband. He was very active in his church, the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spririt in Cumming, GA. Chuck will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Milton S. Brislin Jr.

Survivors include his loving wife, Christina Brislin; son and daughter in law, Andrew (Stacy) Trammell; daughters, Elizabeth Anne Brislin, Megan Elise Brislin; sons, Justin T. Hawkins, Tyler T. Hawkins, Joshua J. Hawkins; mother, Patricia Brislin; sister and brother in law, Judy and Marty Olinger; brothers and sister in laws, Milton S. and Vanna Brislin III, Andrew B. and Judy Brislin; grandchildren, Charlotte Trammell and William Trammell; nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, at 11:30 AM, at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit with Keith Oglesby officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chuck's daughters, Elizabeth Anne Brislin and Megan Elise Brislin at any Wells Fargo Bank.
