Helen A. (Freada) Baxter

Mrs. Helen A. (Freada) Baxter, age 85, of Maysville, GA died Thursday, June 06, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Baxter was born in Commerce to the late Clyde and Susie Lord Anglin. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was retired from BJC Medical Center as a nurse. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baxter was preceded in death by her husband, Joe T. Baxter; son, Randy Baxter and daughter, Myra Baxter.

Mrs. Baxter is survived by her son, Steve Baxter of Maysville; grandson, Blake Baxter of Athens; brother, Jimmy "Log" Anglin of Maysville; and sisters, Mary Wade of Commerce and Alice Whitener of Danielsville.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Sunday, June 9 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 to 8 PM.
