Lois Marie Gipson Phillips

Mrs. Lois Marie Gipson Phillips, age 92, of Danielsville, GA died Monday, June 17, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Phillips was born in Commerce, GA to the late T.D. and Leona Baird Gipson. She was a member of Nicholson Pentecostal Fire Baptized Holiness Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, Okie Talmadge Phillips.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her daughter, Ruby Heaton of Danielsville; sisters, Birdie Dockery of Riverdale and Jean Watkins of Union Point; and brother, Horace Gipson of Atlanta, ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Thursday, June 20 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Howington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from noon until 2 PM.
