Robert E. Rugg

Mr. Robert E. Rugg, age 83, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Florence Clegg Rugg; and brother, Charles William Rugg. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Marie Neal Rugg, Suwanee, GA; daughters, Patti McDonald, Douglasville, GA and Carol Price, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Amey and Chris Algee, Hiram, GA, Matthew and Mindy McDonald, Douglasville, GA and Jessie McDonald, Douglasville, GA; six great grandchildren, C. J. Algee, Adam Algee, Sarah Beth Algee, Emily McDonald, Ethan McDonald and Ella Bates; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Rugg, Sparks, Nevada and Allene Neal Giles and husband, David, Columbia, SC; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Brenda Neal, Blackburg, SC.

Mr. Rugg was born May 31, 1930. He was retired from AT&T after thirty-two years of service. He was a member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Shadowbrook Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby Linkous officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shadowbrook Baptist Church or to your favorite charity in memory of Robert Rugg.
