Kathleen "Katie" Wood Gragg

Funeral services for Kathleen "Katie" Wood Gragg, age 88 of the Batesville Community, Clarkesville will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the Providence Baptist Church with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery.




Mrs. Gragg passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013.




Born on November 18, 1924 in Hiawassee, Georgia, Mrs. Gragg was the daughter of the late Tom and Elzia Arrendale Wood. Mrs. Gragg was a homemaker and a member of Providence Baptist Church. In addition to her parents Mrs. Gragg is preceded in death by her husband Homer Ed Gragg, brothers Russell Wood & Charles Wood, sisters Imojean White, Blondine Lovell, & Ruth Bennett.




Survivors include son Wayne Gragg of Clarkesville, sisters and brothers in law Sandra and Odis Barron and Marie and Charles Roper, as well as three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.




The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 1, 2013 from 6-8 PM.
