Lucille Garrett Barber

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Lucille Garrett Barber, 73, of Nicholson who passed away on Thursday night at the Northridge Medical Center in Commerce.

Born in Jackson County, GA, she was the daughter of Flora Nix Garrett of Nicholson and the late Victor Garrett. Mrs. Barber was also preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Barber. Other survivors include children, Charlton Barber of Carnesville, Bruce Epps of Madison County and Gloria Booth, also of Madison County; brother, Ralph Garrett of Jackson County; sisters, Janice Tacto of Nicholson, Mary Scroggs of Madison County, Doris Morris of Athens, Linda Barber of Nicholson, Ann Fields of Nicholson and Joyce Harrison, also of Nicholson; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services are scheduled for Saturday at 11 AM from the New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Clark Kesler and Rev. Zack Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
