Linton Dale Allen

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Linton Dale Allen, age 50 of Cleveland. Linton passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 at his home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am. August 5, 2013 from the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Yarbrough officiating . Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park.

Linton was born in Hall County on May 23, 1963 and lived all his life in White County . He was a graduate of White County High School and was a self employed automobile mechanic. Linton was a member of Mt. Yonah Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his father , Dale Allen and stepfather , Phillip Thurmond.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Cowart Thurmond of Cleveland and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many friends.

Flowers will be acknowledged or memorial donations may be made in memory of Linton to Mt. Yonah Baptist Church, 882 Asbestos Rd., Cleveland,Georgia 30528

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm
