Johnny E. Cochran

Obituary Date: Saturday, August 10, 2013
Johnny E. Cochran, age 63, of Canton, formerly of Cumming, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013. Johnny was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and had been a drummer his entire life. He owned and operated various business in Forsyth, Cherokee and Bartow Counties. In 1996 he received The Business Man of the Year Award from the Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Cochran; father, Henry Cochran, brother, Hughlen Cochran; father-in-law, Dean Duncan.



Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Gary Peardon of Canton; grandson's, Jared and Jason Peardon both of Canton; mother, Mildred Cochran of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Pam Cochran of Cumming, Joey and Lindsey Cochran of Cumming; sister-in-law, Sue Cochran of Cumming, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Norma and Harold Monroe of Buford, Brenda and Johnny Pruitt of Comer, Dottie Jackson of Buford, David and Kathy Duncan of Buford; mother-in-law, Dorothy Duncan of Cumming; special friends, Barry Peardon of Jasper and Jimmy Necessary of Woodstock; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 13th at 1:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ruel Martin and Rev. Garry English officiating. Entombment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until hour of the service.

The family is accepting flowers or donations may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 5640 Oak Grove Circle, Cumming, GA 30040.
