Sara Gaskins Bass

Mrs. Sara Gaskins Bass, age 75, of Flowery Branch passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 at Willowwood Nursing Center, surrounded by her family.



Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 19, 2013 from the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home.



Mrs. Bass was born in New Bern, North Carolina and was survived by her husband of 55 years, Jim; three children, sons Jim & wife Deidra, and Bill & wife Kim, and daughter Tonya Kitterman; grandchildren, Madison, Jase, Will, Luke, Cory, Matthew, Andrew, Olivia and Katherine.



Mrs. Bass graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina and taught primary education.
