Ms. Willie Mae Adams Farmer, age 65, of Gainesville, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday August 17, 2013 following a sudden illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.


Ms. Farmer was born on April 12, 1948 in Commerce, Georgia to the late Garnett Lee Adams and Bessie Mae Mathis Adams. She was employed as a CNA with The Oaks at Limestone.

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Ingram Mitchell of Gainesville, sons and daughters-in-law, Jeremy Scott and Heather Winters of Gainesville, Robby and Lisa Ingram of Gainesville, grandchildren, Bobby Mitchell and wife, Jacelyn, Christopher Pierce, Austin Ingram, Adam Winters, Abigail Ingram, Gabe Winters, Dylan Pierce and Kane Winters, great-grandchildren, Gavin Mitchell and Layne Mitchell, sisters and brothers-in-law, Sara and Arnold Martin, Minnie Lee "Bea" and Gene Sorrow, Lucy and Tom Ogdon, Ida Bell and Carlton Sears and Jeannie and David Dempsey, brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Karen Adams and J.C. and Roseanne Adams, sisters, Ruby Watson, Patricia Scarborough, Sarah Turner and Pearly Bryant, and numerous nieces and nephews.
