Louise Stewart Smith

Mrs. Louise Stewart Smith, age 83, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Zonie Samples Stewart; father, Ancil Neil Stewart; stepmother, Ruby Samples Stewart; brother, Ancil N. Stewart, Jr.; sister, Evelyn Green; and daughter, Melissa Smith.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Roger Madison Smith, Sugar Hill, GA; sons and daughters in law, Garry J. and Tricia Smith, Sugar Hill and Larry Neal and Tina Smith, Murphy, NC; daughter, Ginger Smith, Roanoke Rapids, NC; five grandchildren, Jody Smith, Landon and Misty Smith, Laura Anderson, Zack and Jessica Smith, Jeremy Smith; three great grandchildren, Emma Grace Anderson, Gavin Smith and Owen Smith; sisters and brother in law, Lillian Mullinax, McDonough, GA, Margie, Hitt, Buford, GA, Mary Martin, Cumming, GA and Brenda and Tommy Estes, Ball Ground, GA; brothers and sisters in law, Jerry and Geraldine Stewart, Ranger, GA and Jackie and Arlene Stewart, Canton, GA; brother in law, J. Garston Green, Cumming, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Smith was born June 7, 1930 in Cumming, GA. She was saved and baptized at Beaver Ruin Baptist Church and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Sugar Hill. She was retired from Chicopee Corp and Gwinnett County Senior Services.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Akins officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
