Robert 'Bobby' Wayne Sims

Robert "Bobby" Wayne Sims, 69, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on August 27, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Sara "Jackie" Sims, parents, Willie V. Sims and Lucille Sims, brother, Willie V. Sims, Jr. He is survived by daughters, Deanna and Darryl Gunter of Flowery Branch, GA, Shannon Bryant, Cleveland, GA, Christy and Jeff Hitchcock, Gainesville, GA, sons, Gary and Elizabeth Lakey, Amarillo, TX, Jeffery and Trina Sims, Dahlonega, GA, James Sims, Cleveland, GA, Melvin and Virginia Watkins, Maysville, GA, Scott Sims, Gainesville, GA, sixteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brother, Jimmy Sims, Suwanee, GA, Aunts, Virginia Nesbitt Baxter, Norcross, GA; Alice Westbrooks, Norcross, GA; Avis Pittman, Norcross, GA., several cousins.

Mr. Sims was born September 18, 1943 in Duluth, GA. He graduated from North Gwinnett High School in 1961. He was retired supervisor from Georgia Pacific. He was a member and also a deacon of County Line Baptist Church, Alpharetta, GA.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, with Pastor Scott Truitt officiating. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm then 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
