Mr. Damon D. Sammons, age 21, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Veronica Sammons. He is survived by his mother, Wendy Curtis Sammons and Waylon Sanders, Buford, GA; father, Joseph W. and Tammy Lyn Sammons, Buford, GA; sisters, Kelly Christina Sammons, Melody Avery Lynn Sammons and Mary Faith Sammons, all of Buford, GA; brothers, Joseph Wayne Sammons, Jr., Buford, GA, Taylor Austin Shedd, Buford, GA and Daniel Lee Hedrick, Gainesville, GA; grandparents, James Ronald and Laura Curtis, Duluth, GA, Tim and Beverly Sammons, Social Circle, GA and Mary Crawford, Buford, GA; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Damon was born March 2, 1992 in Lawrenceville, GA. He was a 2010 graduate of Apalachee High School in Winder, GA and was a student at Lanier Technical College. He attended Buford Church of God.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Joey Grizzle and Dr. James K. "Buster" Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA.
