Ms. Frances Louise "Fannie Lou" Hunt, age 91 of W. Savannah Street, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Heritage Healthcare of Toccoa.
A daughter of the late Joseph and Omie Lavatter Williams Hunt, she was born February 12, 1922 in Winder, Georgia having lived most of her life in Toccoa. She was employed with Commercial Union Assurance Company in Atlanta, Georgia for 22 years and later with Coats and Clark for 6 years. She was a member of Hill Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Bruce Standridge of Stratford, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Geraldine Hunt of Toccoa.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 12, 2 O'clock PM at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Paul Garrison and the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Randy Shirley, Dennis Brewer, W. T. Segars, Jimmy Whiten, Tom Collins and Randy Crumbley.
The family will receive friends at Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:30 PM until the service time.
Flowers are to be omitted. Memorials may be made to Hill Street Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box B, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Frances "Fannie Lou" Hunt.
Interment will follow in Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Ms. Frances "Fannie Lou" Hunt.
