Guy Douglas Stinnett

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Guy Douglas Stinnett, age 78 of Cleveland. Mr. Stinnett passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013.

A celebration of life service for Guy will be held 11:00am, Saturday, September 28, 2013 in the funeral home chapel, Rev. Phillip Williams will officiate.

Guy was born on December 27, 1934 in Norwood, Ohio. He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor in apartment complexes and condominiums. Guy was an avid Deep Sea Fisherman and loved watching NASCAR Racing and going to Stock Car Races. His hobby after retirement was building birdhouses. Most people called them bird condominiums. These unique birdhouses brought much pleasure to their owners. Guy had lived most of life in Florida,and moved to White County in 2006. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Marine Sgt. Matthew Kistler
Guy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jan Stinnett of Cleveland; daughters, Brenda Stinnett of Easley, South Carolina, Lisa Burdue of Ocee, Florida; son, Jack Osbourne of Easley, South Carolina, great granddaughter, Hadley Kistler; brother in law, Barry Chiron of Aurora, Ohio, nephew, Lamar Carpenter of Winter Garden, Florida, grand niece, Tiffany Donnelly of Minneola, Florida, cousins, Susan Price of Ocee, Florida, Kathy Watson of Mt. Dora, Florida, Sandy Schneider of Polk City, Florida, and many dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 until the service at 11:00am.
