Charles Pierce (Bill) Sosebee, Jr

Charles Pierce (Bill) Sosebee, Jr., age 82 of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Gateway Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Sosebee was born February 26, 1931 in White County to the late Charlie and Lela Dorsey Sosebee. He was an Army veteran who served during the Korean War and was a member and greeter of Mossy Creek United Methodist Church. Mr. Sosebee was preceded in death by his sisters, Hazel Dorsey and Joyce Holcomb.

Survivors include his wife Laurene Sosebee, Cleveland; sons and daughter-in-laws, Charl and Kim Sosebee, Cleveleand, and Chris and Cindy Sosebee, Sautee; sister, Edith Dorsey, Cleveland; grandchildren, Zack and Shaun Sosebee, Chaz Sosebee, Chase Crumley, Anna and Jesse Nix, Kirk and Kristen Sosebee, Alan and Kaitlyn Sosebee, Ryan and Courtney Sosebee, Ben Sosebee, Eric Sosebee, Caleb Sosebee, Katie Anna Sosebee, David Sosebee, Sarah Beth Sosebee, Joseph Sosebee; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Buell Jones, Tucker; 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Friday, September 27, 2013 at Mossy Creek United Methodist Church. The Rev. Nanci Hicks and Rev. Don Landon will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
