Mary Grace Carney Coker

Mary Grace Carney Coker, age 70 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.


Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Royce Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 2 - 6, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ms. Coker was born May 21, 1943 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Hoyt Carney and Grace Stover Carney. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Timothy "Bo" Carpenter.

Ms. Coker is survived by her daughters, Tammy Joyce Ledford and Misty Dawn Carpenter, both of Gainesville, son, Randy Clyde Jones of Gainesville, sisters, Barbara Martin and Linda Beck, both of Gainesville, brothers, William "Dickie" Carney of Talmo and Jimmy Carney of Toccoa, brothers & sisters-in-law, Douglas & Judy Carney of Cumming and Robert "Runt" & Jimmie Carney of Maysville, 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.



Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
