Mildred W. Roper

Mrs. Mildred W. Roper, 87 of Gainesville died Friday October 18, 2013 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.



A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Roper was the daughter of the late Raymon Lee and Lelar Laws Wingo. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.



Mrs. Roper is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Roper.



Survivors include her son, Perry Lee Roper, Gainesville and her loving chihuahua, Jack "Lover Boy" Roper.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday October 21, 2013 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Stacy Phillips and Rev. Clack Stubbs will officiate. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday October 20, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
