Janie Hanson, age 78, of Lilburn, GA passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013.
She is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law, Alice Winn, Lula, GA, Molly Hunt, Demorest, GA and Susie and Ray Cochran, Oxford, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ben and Janice Hanson, Snellville, GA, Steve and Virginia Hanson, Conyers, GA and Rev. Mike Hanson and wife, Cathy Hanson, Royston, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs.
Hanson was born July 9, 1935 in Atlanta, GA. She received her education from Clarkston High School. She retired from Wachovia Bank in Lilburn, GA, as a loan officer, after forty-two years of service. She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church in Tucker, GA.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Janie Hanson.
