Evelyn Weatherford

Mrs. Evelyn Weatherford of Dahlonega, Ga. passed away Tuesday November 5, 2013 at the age of 84 after declining health.

She was born in Winder, Ga. on March 26, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Myrt and Isabelle Hill. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Weatherford is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Weatherford; sons, Billy Weatherford and Bobby Weatherford.

Mrs. Weatherford is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Lewis and Edwina Weatherford of Cumming, Otis and Linda Weatherford of Dawsonville, daughter and son in law, Nancy and Larry Harkins of Murrayville, son and daughter in law, Chris and Vel Weatherford of Gainesville, daughter in law, Veta Weatherford of Winder; grandsons, Waylon Weatherford, Marty Weatherford, Douglas Weatherford, Josh Weatherford; granddaughters, Tia Shubert, Jessica Weatherford, Emma Weatherford, Billie Jo Weatherford, Denise Weatherford; grandsons, Bill Weatherford, Jay Weatherford; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Sarah Grace, Savannah, Elizabeth, Hudson and Madi.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at New Hope United Methodist Church. Rev. Larry Patton and Rev. Richard Moeller will officiate. Interment will follow in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Wednesday, November 6, 2103 from 2-4 p.m. and again from 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Weatherford will lie in state at the church from 2:30 p.m. until the service hour.
