Ruth Carolyn Simpson Keneipp

Ruth Carolyn Simpson Keneipp, age 72 of Buford, GA passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born in Greensboro, NC to the late Victor and Katie Lee Simpson. She grew up in Miami, FL where she met and married the love of her life Terry Keneipp. Terry and Ruth were married Septembe17, 1960 in Miami and had three beloved children. In 1973 they moved to Buford, GA and were among the founding members of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Ruth retired after 28 years with Bellsouth. She was an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and Prince of Peace Red Hats. She had a great love for shopping, flowers and spending time with her family. Ruth was a woman of great strength, faith and beauty. She was defined by her love of life and deep absolute devotion to her family. Ruth is survived by her Husband, Terry Keneipp, Buford. Children, Wayne and his Wife, Melanie Keneipp, Buford. Katie Keneipp Beard and Husband, Robin Beard, Buford. Alan Keneipp, Buford. Grandchildren, Katie and Ryan Potts, Winder, Caleb Keneipp, NY, Celrina Keneipp, CA. Gage Keneipp and Elyse Keneipp, Buford. Great Grand Daughter, Annabelle Potts. Brothers, Ken Simpson, OK and Dr. Timothy Simpson, Woodstock. Several Cherished In-laws, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She also leaves behind her treasured dogs, Luckie and Clare. Her spirit will always remain alive in our hearts and minds. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 11, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Father Eric Hill will officiate. The Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 5-8PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 at the funeral home.
