Vera Lynn Marlowe

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Vera Mae Lynn Marlowe, age 79, of Jefferson, who passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Mrs. Marlowe was born in Jefferson, GA, a daughter to the late George and Dovie Craig Lynn. Mrs. Marlowe was a Homemaker and a member of the Living Word Worship Center. Mrs. Marlowe was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Emory Marlowe Jr. and her son, Perry Dewayne Marlowe.

Survivors include her daughters and son in law, Marsha and Derrell Crowe, Sheryl Martin, Juanita Delong all of Jefferson, brother, Edward Lynn, Alabama, 6 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Mobley officiating. The burial will follow in the Jackson Memorial Park with Marcus Crowe, Mike Lynn, Bobby Ellis and Matt Benson honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
