Albert Robert Rousey, Jr.

Albert Robert Rousey, Jr., 90, resident of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away, Monday, November 18, 2013 in Gainesville, Georgia at Northeast Georgia medical Center from natural causes.

He was born in Hapeville, Georgia May 12, 1923, the Son of "Albert and Opal Rousey. Albert served in the Marine Corp during World War II and attended the University of Georgia. Albert was married to Mildred Cheek on February 21, 1948.

He spent his working career at Flamingo Oil Company in Miami, Florida working as a Salesman. Albert spent over 40 years as a Shriner as a member of the Mahi Temple in Miami, Florida

He was survived by Mildred Cheek Rousey; 2 children Mark Rousey and Lisa Rousey Harbin; 3 grandchildren Shannon Cebrian, Michael Rousey and Nicholas Harbin


A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Dahlonega Funeral Home, 20 Gibson Road, Dahlonega, Georgia 30533.
