Mrs. Mary C. Walker, age 65, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Margaret McAvoy. She is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Russell Walker, Sugar Hill, GA; children, Lee Ann and Kyle Pepple, Cumming, GA, Matthew and Carolynn Walker, Atlanta, GA, David and Sabrina Walker, Dahlonega, GA and Christopher Walker, Buford, GA; five grandchildren, Caroline Pepple, Tiernan Pepple, Sean Pepple, Victoria Walker and Bridget Walker; sisters and brothers in law, Susan and Timothy Brimus, Rocky River, OH, Ann and Bob Placko, North Ridgeville, OH, Ellen and Christopher Walsh, North Ridgeville, OH, Cathy and Steve Patterson, Woodstock, GA; brothers and sisters in law, David and Kathy McAvoy, Wellesley, MA, Daniel and Debbie McAvoy, Palatine, IL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Walker was born January 12, 1948 in Cleveland, OH. She was a 1966 graduate of Magnificat High School in Rocky River, OH and a 1968 graduate of St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing. She was a retired nurse from Emory Hospital Paces Plastic Surgery. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Juan officiating.
