Brenda Murray Carter

Funeral services for Brenda Murray Carter, age 62, of Cornelia will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Hillside Memorial Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 2-4 PM and from 6-8 PM.

Mrs. Carter died November 22, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness.

Born in Toccoa, GA on February 17, 1951, Mrs. Carter was the daughter of the late Floyd and Louise Matthews Murray. Mrs. Carter was of the Baptist faith and she was a caregiver at Habersham Retreat.

Survivors include son and daughter in law Steve and Stacey Carter of Jefferson, son Gerald Carter of Baldwin, brothers Lloyd Murray of Demorest, Vernon Murray of Cornelia, Billy Murray and Donnie Murray both of Toccoa, sister Faye Smith of Toccoa and grandchildren Gabe Carter and Jake Carter.
