Robert "Bob" Lee House

Funeral services for Robert "Bob" Lee House, Jr, age 58, of Mt. Airy will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from the First Presbyterian Church in Cornelia. Rev. Blaine Walker and Dr. James Oudom will officiate with interment to follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. House died Saturday, November 23, 2013 at his residence.

Born in Richmond, Virginia on March 10, 1955 Mr. House was the son of the late Robert L. and Edith Chumney House. Mr. House was a United States Army Veteran having served in Germany during the Vietnam Era. He was a lifelong musician and worked as an audio technician for 20 years. Mr. House was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cornelia where he also enjoyed playing drums with the praise band.

Survivors include his wife Nancy Bush House of Mt. Airy, daughter and son in law Megan H. And Brent Gates of Cornelia, son and daughter in law Robert Lee, III and Rebecca Ann House of Mt. Airy, son Charles Anderson House of Mt. Airy. Brother and sister in law Harold and Dona Wright, Sr of Richmond, Virginia, sister and brother in law Melissa "Missy" and Rick Gorskie of Austin, Texas, as well as seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 25th from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
