Clayton 'Jimmy' Bennett

Clayton "Jimmy" Bennett, age 59, of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.


Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 3:00 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Charles Jenkins will officiate. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 4 - 7 pm at the funeral home.


Mr. Bennett was born June 23, 1954 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Clayton Bennett and Beulah Puckett Bennett. He was retired from construction work and was of the Baptist Faith. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Shane Bennett and his brother, James Maddox.


Mr. Bennett is survived by his daughters, Nancy Bennett of Gainesville, Cheryl Ann Gresson of Winder and Kristy Harper of Gainesville, son, Justin Bennett of Gainesville, brother, Ricky Bennett of Gainesville, sister, Dolly Roberts of Gainesville and ex-wife, Connie Bennett of Commerce.



Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
