Scotty Randall "Randy" Hatcher

Scotty Randall "Randy" Hatcher, age 50, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 pm Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Yellow Creek Baptist Church with interment to follow in Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Charles Grant and Reverend Roger Stover will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel in Gainesville.

Randy was born December 24, 1962, a lifetime resident of Hall County, the son of Jim Hatcher and the late Ann (Graham) Hatcher. He has been a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church for over 30 years. Randy was a member of the 1980 graduating class at North Hall High School. He learned his skills from his grandfather as a young man and continued his trade through continuing education. He was employed with Southern Mechanical Contractors of Tucker, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Diane (Paxton) Hatcher; son, James Scotty Hatcher; daughters and sons-in-law, Kristina and Chad Rail; Stephanie and Michael Nowlin; father, Jim Hatcher; sister and brother-in-law, Sandye and Sam Grindle, all of Gainesville; grandchildren, Bryson Blakeley, Karisma Ember and Adalyn.
