Barbara Olive Holcombe

Barbara Olive Holcombe, age 82, of Flowery Branch passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming. Mrs. Holcombe was born June 21, 1931 in West Allis, WI to the late Perry and Mildred Bartleson and has lived in Flowery Branch for the past 37 years. She was a Catholic by faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holcombe is preceded in death by her husband, Maxwell E. Holcombe and a grandson, Travis Gober.



Survivors include her children, Starr Gober and her husband, George, and Steven Hartman; sisters, Nancy Scheiderer and Joy Powell; a brother, Thomas Bartleson; grandchildren, Sean and Elka Bresnahan, Adam and Erica Craft, Jason and Ryan Gober and Amanda Michelle Moore and great grandchildren, Rylee Bresnahan, Justin Bresnahan, Regan Craft, Jake Craft, Alivia Gober, Logan Gober, Emilie Gober and Noah Gober.



Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 19, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robbie Mathis officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford.



The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
