Patricia Whidby Smith

Patricia Whidby Smith, age 68, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Deonna Barrett; parents, Leonard and Daisy Martin Whidby; and brother, Thomas Eugene Whidby. She is survived by her sister, Judy Whidby Hall, Stone Mountain, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Renda Whidby, Sugar Hill, GA; niece, Jennifer Hall Green and husband, Douglas, Suwanee, GA; nephews, Michael Whidby, Sugar Hill, GA and Jason Hall, Smyrna, GA; and several cousins.

Ms. Smith was born August 8, 1945 in Buford, GA. She was a 1962 graduate of South Hall High School in Gainesville, GA. She retired from John Deere Company in Conyers, GA as a computer operator after thirty years of service. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Buford, GA.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Patricia Whidby Smith.
