Edith Ann Brown

Edith Ann Brown, 61, of Dahlonega passed away Wednesday December 25, 2013 at her residence following a period of declining health.

Born December 22, 1952 to the late Robert and Leila Brown, she lived most of her life in Lumpkin County. Edith worked providing in home healthcare and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Satcie Geier; sisters, Robbie Jean Brown, Joyce Arnold; and brothers, Hoyt Brown and Cecil Brown.

Surviving are her daughter, Tammy Dixon, Dahlonega; son, Joey Geier, Dahlonega; sisters and brother in law, Bessie Stancil, Dahlonega, Donna and Larry Reed, Dawsonville; brothers and sisters in law, Johnny Brown, Dahlonega, Richard and Joyce Brown, Dahlonega, George and Tammie Brown, Dahlonega; seven grandchildren, a great grandson, and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be held Saturday December 28, 2013 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

The family will receive friends Saturday beginning at 1 o'clock.
