Eva Pauline 'Polly' Hunt Neal

Eva Pauline "Polly" Hunt Neal, age 79, of Dahlonega, Georgia and formerly of Atlanta, Georgia and Greenville, South Carolina, died on December 15, 2013 following a sudden illness.

Polly was a woman of vast talents: a businesswoman as well as an award-winning painter, sculptor, and writer who mentored and encouraged other artists. She cared deeply for people, touched a myriad of lives, and was well-known and loved.

Polly was predeceased by her parents Paul and Katherine Hunt, and her husband Henry Getzen Neal. She is survived by her daughter Jan Williams Matthews of Hawaii, her son Peter Zane Williams of Alaska, her step-daughter Leslie Neal Hilmer of Miami FL, grand-daughters Ariel Matthews of Seattle WA, and Lamai (Scout) Hunt of Thailand, grandson Adam Matthews of Cumming GA, brothers Buddy Hunt of Greenville SC, Paul Hunt of Easley SC, and Luther Hunt of Easley SC, and sisters Donna Hunt Share of British Columbia Canada, Linda Hunt Padgett of Travelers Rest SC, MaryElla Hunt Collins of Orlando FL, Charlotte Hunt Tucker of Piedmont SC, Sara Hunt Powell of Orlando FL, and many nieces and nephews.
