Louise Carter Smith

Mrs. Louise Carter Smith, age 84 of 2688 Nub Garland Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at her residence.

A daughter of the late George J. and Cora Lee Carter, she was born March 13, 1929 in Tallapoosa, Alabama having lived most of her life in Stephens County, Georgia. She and her late husband, Charles T. Smith owned and operated a Personal Care Home. She was a member of Currahee Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Smith in 2003 and by a daughter, Betty Jean Smith.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Charles "Bug" Smith and wife Sandra of Toccoa, Georgia; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, M.D. Carter of Scottsboro, Alabama.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 1, 2014, 10 O'clock AM in the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Tony Banks officiating. The following
