Ferria Mae Stovall

Obituary Date: Wednesday, January 15, 2014
Mrs. Ferria Mae Stovall, age 79, of Gainesville, Ga. went to be with the Lord, January 15, 2014, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home with Don Elrod officiating. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-9 p.m., and again on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Mrs. Stovall was born on January 7, 1935, in Cleveland, Georgia to the late William Joseph Dillard and Blanche Waldrop Dillard. She is preceded in death by 7 brothers and 2 sisters; Clyde Dillard, W.A. Dillard, Garrison Dillard, Bobby Dillard, Billy Dillard, Farrell Dillard, Neal Dillard, Jewel Stringer Barbara Ann Dillard. She is survived by a sister Joyce and her husband Joel Deaton, Clermont.

Mrs. Stovall spent most of her life as a loving wife, mother, and Nana. She worked together with her late husband, Ivan Stovall, with his accounting-tax practice, Stovall Associates LTD. She is lovingly remembered for her love for the Lord, family, music and flowers.

She is survived by her daughters and sons in law: Vivian and Gilbert D. Martin, Gainesville; Anita Webb, Gainesville; Vickie and Bill Nash, Lawrenceville; Janet Stovall, Gainesville; and Joan and Jason East, Clermont. Grandchildren, Laurie Chapman, Braselton; Christina Kelley, Chattanooga; Whitney and Danny Young, Buford; Corporal Anthony Belladonna and Jeanna Belladonna, Camp Pendleton, Calif.; Haley Nash, Lawrenceville; Ryan Camp Moundville, Al; Melissa Martin, Gainesville; Scott and Nancy Martin, Athens; Taylor East, Winder, and Braelyn East, Winder. Great grandchildren, Tyler Bailey, Jordan McNeal, Tommy Chapman, and Preston Chapman of Braselton; and Wyatt and Carter Martin, Madison.
