Glynda Presley McCommon

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm on Friday January 24, 2014 in Wards Funeral Home Chapel, for Ms. Glynda Presley McCommon, 67, of Gainesville. Rev. Lamar Purcell, Rev. Darryl Dale and Rev. Craig Dale will officiate with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.



The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Funeral Home.



Ms. McCommon was born in Hall County. She was the daughter of Lee and Ethelene Buffington Presley. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Presley and nephew, Chuck Dale.

Survivors include her mother, Ethelene Presley of New Holland; sisters and brothers in laws, Maurice and Rev. Darryl Dale of Gainesville, Elaine and Don Greene of Gainesville; nephews and spouses, Matthew and Natalie Greene of Buford, Rev. Craig and Caroline Dale of Dacula; Niece Barbie Dale, special thanks to Jan Gilmer for the care she gave.
