Ellen Altois Allman

Ellen Altois Allman, age 63, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014, in Camden, SC.

Ellen was born in Michigan, raised her children in Dahlonega, GA, and had lived in Camden, SC since 1991. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She was the retired manager of Skateland USA in Florence, SC, and of the Baptist Faith.

Ms. Allman was the daughter of the late Buster Allman and Margie Rider.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Johnny Johnson, Dahlonega, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Samanta Allman, Savannah, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rock and Judy Allman, Camden, SC, and Barney and Helena Allman, Pensecola, FL; brother, Houston Del Allman, Murphy, NC; sister-in-law, Linda Allman, Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Ian Johnson, ILeigh Johnson, and Sofia Allman; niece, Angie Allman, Columbia, SC; nephew, Jason and Alicia Allman, Atlanta, GA; stepbrothers, Johnny and Bonnie Rider, Dahlonega, GA, and Mitchell and Linda Rider, Dahlonega, GA; and stepsister, Sue and Ross Evans, Gainesville, GA. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Ellen are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Bill Hutcheson will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Old Cane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 1 PM until the time of service.
