Patricia Jane Simmons Robinson

Mrs. Patricia Jane Simmons Robinson, age 68 of 200 N. Currahee Lane, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Heritage Healthcare in Toccoa.

A daughter of the late W.A. "Gus" and Mildred Singleton Simmons, she was born May 17, 1945 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Habersham County and the last 20 years in Stephens County. She was employed with Fieldale and Milliken for a number of years and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by two brothers, W.A. Simmons, Jr. and Jimmy Simmons.

Survivors include her son, Rodney Brown of Cornelia, Georgia; granddaughter, Hope Brown; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Dot Simmons of Toccoa, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Yvonne and Doug Thacker of Toccoa, Georgia and Joan and Steve Bailey of Alto, Georgia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, February 4, 2 O'clock PM at Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest, Georgia with the Reverend Janice Sudderth officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Todd Bramlett, Jamey Foster, Ricky Loudermilk, Buck Simmons, Dustin Thacker and Doug Thacker.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 6 PM to 8 PM.
