Charles David Hollis

Charles David Hollis, age 38 of Homer, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Athens Regional Hospital following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Rusty Martin will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 3 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Hollis was born July 13, 1975 in Gainesville, Georgia to Travis Hollis and Barbara Evans Green. He was employed at Buhler Quality Yarns Company and was of the Baptist Faith. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Travis Hollis and his brother, James Travis Hollis.

Mr. Hollis is survived by his wife, Christy Hollis of Homer, sons, Joshua Martin, Austin Hollis, Owen Hollis and Caleb Hollis, all of Homer, his mother, Barbara Evans Green of Lula and his sister, Tina Irene Sullens of Lula and many other family and friends.
