Richard Mettee

Richard Mettee died February 19, 2014 in Cumming, Georgia. He was 77 years old. He was born April 5, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland.

In his early years, after spending time in the U.S. Coast Guard, he was a professional photographer at the Mettee Studio in Baltimore. His passion was serving as Maintenance Supervisor and Care Taker at the Howard County Fair Grounds in West Friendship, Maryland. He spent 25 years with the Fair Association up until his retirement in 2012.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Dill, grandson Josh Dill, great grandson Cameron all of Cumming GA, step sisters Robyn Metzbower of Sykesville MD and Lyn Chervenak. And several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents N. Boyd Mettee and Nina Mettee.
