Grace Hazen Ritch

Mrs. Grace Hazen Ritch, age 96, of Dahlonega, GA died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Tanglewood Personal Care Home in Lumpkin County.

Grace was born in Brooker, Florida February 13, 1918. She had lived in Lumpkin County since 1991 and lived in Starke, Florida most of her life. She retired from the Bradford County, Florida School System in 1983 after 35 years of service.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas Clifford Hazen and Marvin Conner Hazen and was alsopreceded in death by her husband, Carlyle Peek Ritch; brothers, Cliff and Dan Hazen.

Grace is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Cathy Ritch, Dahlonega, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Martha Susan and Buddy Clark, Green Cove Springs, Florida; sister, Madeline Andrews, Orlando, Florida. Five grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives also survive.

A memorial service for Grace is scheduled for 1 PM Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel in Starke, Florida.
