Lenton "Lendy" Gordon

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Lenton "Lendy" Gordon, age 52, of Commerce who passed away on Thursday March 20th, 2014 after an extended illness. Mrs. Gordon was born in Jacksonville, FL and was the daughter of the late Ira Thompson and Johnnie Mae Thompson. Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Eddie Gordon; son, Josh Gordon of Commerce; daughters, Eva Gordon of Commerce, Andrea Wyler of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Ashley Barnett of Commerce; brothers, Ira Thompson of MacClenny, Sam Thompson of Fernandina Beach, FL, and James, Carl and George Thompson all of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Kristi Whitfield, Misty Maxwell, Elizabeth Thompson, LaVona Thompson, Brenda Mosley, and Shasta Baldwin all of Jacksonville, FL, Gracie (Carla) Loyd of Powder Springs, Dora Brown of Chesapeake Bay, VA, and April Lee of Stanley, NC; and two grandchildren, Bryon Barnett and Bryson Wyler.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday March 22nd, 2014 from 6 PM until 9 PM. Services will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Sunday March 23rd, 2014 at 3 PM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
