Bobby Neal Pruitt, age 63 of Cumming, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Sugar Hill, GA. Bobby was a Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved family and fishing with his grandsons. He was a member of the Ducktown Masonic Lodge #572. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Sallie Mae Pruitt; brothers and sister-in-law, Rev. Lamar (Spud) and Dot Pruitt, Rev. Luther Pruitt; brothers-in-law, Donald Bagley and Roy Sweatman.



Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Sandra J. Pruitt of Cumming; Children, Shane and Sharon Pruitt of Cumming, Shannon and Eddy Gravitt of Cumming; grandchildren, Luke Gravitt and Bryson Pruitt, brothers and sisters-in-law, Rev. Carrel and Wonnie Pruitt of Cumming, Rev. Cecil and Montez Pruitt of Cumming, Leroy and Mary Pruitt of Buford, Marie Pruitt of Cumming; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby Bagley of Cumming, Fern and Rev. C. T. Evans of Cumming, Nancy and Rev. Ricky Hood of Cumming, Vernice Sweatman of Carnesville.



Funeral services will be held Monday, March 24that 10:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Pruitt, Rev. Dan Henderson, Rev. Carrel and Rev. Cecil Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Sunday from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 am until hour of the service.
