James "Jim" Stanley Sweatman

James "Jim" Stanley Sweatman, age 61 of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Chaplain from Homestead Hospice will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 6:00-9:00pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Sweatman was born June 30, 1952 in Fulton County, Georgia to the late Jimmy Roger Sweatman and the late Doris Mae Myers Sweatman. He worked in heating and air as his trade. Mr. Sweatman served in the United States Army and last attended Hopewell Methodist Church. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Sweatman is survived by his wife, Pam Sweatman of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Nadein and Bryan Abercrombie of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Erik and Lauryn Sweatman of Monroe; stepdaughter and husband, Emily and Brandon Bailey of Winder; grandchildren, Victoria Abercrombie, Bud Abercrombie, Wyatt Abercrombie, Kathryn Sweatman, Elizabeth Sweatman, Isabelle Sweatman, James Sweatman, Zaiden Bailey; sisters, Patricia Powell and Teresa Sweatman and brother, Tommy Sweatman.

Flowers are accepted but those who wish may make contributions to Homestead Hospice
