Peggy Ann Abernathy

Mrs. Peggy Ann Abernathy, age 48 of Helen passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2014. She was born in Habersham County to Vernon and Helen Lovell Farmer on December 10, 1965. Mrs. Abernathy will always be remembered for her love and commitment to her family.

Mrs. Abernathy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Fay and Bonnie Lovell; nephew, Chris Parker. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Abernathy, Helen; son, Jesse Abernathy, Helen; daughter and son-in-law, Vitoria and Drew Allison, Cleveland; mother and father, Helen and Vernon Farmer, Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Donny Loggins; sister, Rita Farmer, Cleveland; mother-in-law Hennritta Abernathy, Helen; grandchildren, Emma Allison, Lane Allison, and Graci Ann Allison all of Cleveland, Nolan Abernathy and Joseph Abernathy of Helen.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 6 until 8 PM and again on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 10 Am until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Dukes Creek Baptist Church at on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 2 PM with the Revs. Dale Abernathy, Charles Abernathy, and Junior Abernathy officiating. Interment will be held in the church cemetery, Ricky Farmer, Mack Lawson, Donny Loggins, Jerry Parker, Jody Winkler, and Drew Allison will serve as pallbearers.
