J.T. Lawson

Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Thursday April 3, 2014 in Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for J.T. Lawson age 80 of Gainesville. The Rev. James Elrod will officiate. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Lawson passed away Tuesday April 1, 2014.



J.T. was born on January 16, 1934 to the late Joseph T. and Alice Grant Lawson. He was a native of Hall County and worked as a caregiver and was of the baptist faith.



Survivors include Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Herby Lee and Naomi Lawson, Gainesville, Thomas and Janice Lawson, Virginia, Roy and Doris Lawson, Gainesville and several nieces and nephews.
