Polly Henderson Myrick

Mrs. Polly Henderson Myrick, age 101 years young, of Gainesville, previously of Decatur, GA, passed away peacefully at her home on April 5, 2014.


Polly was born in Aerial, Habersham County, GA on September 15, 1912. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Berry "TB" and Zora Conley Henderson of Sautee-Nacoochee, GA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, C.C. "Kip" Myrick of Decatur; her sisters, Nellie Vandegriff, Jessie Owenby, Addie Wright, and Mary Lula Davidson; her brothers Thomas Berry "Bon" Henderson, Jr, John Conley Henderson, and Henry Howard "Snooks" Henderson. She is survived by a number of very special nieces and nephews.



Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, 4-7 pm at Memorial Park North Riverside in Gainesville with internment and graveside service in Decatur City Cemetery on Thursday, April 10 at 11 am with Dr. Jerry Gill of Lakewood Baptist Church officiating.
