James Edward Vaughan

Mr. James Edward Vaughan age 93 of Santa Clarita, California passed away Tuesday April 08, 2014 at Mountain View Convalescent Hospital in Santa Clarita, California.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 23, 2014 from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Vaughan was born on July 26, 1920 in Frankford, Kentucky to the late William Cleber Vaughan and Mittie Mitchell Vaughan. He was retired from AT&T as an installer for 35 years and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He was a deacon in The Southern Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Leona Zornes Vaughan, brothers, Lewis Vaughan, June Vaughan, Buss Vaughan, sisters, Virginia Andrews, Gladys Henderson, Betty McDannold, step-son, Charles Zornes.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Howard Anderson of Santa Clarita, California, sister, Edna Sothard of Florence, KY, brother and sister-in-law, Moses and Loretta Vaughan of Lakeland, FL step-daughter, Sandra Zornes Baker of Georgia, step-sons and wife's, Robert and Debi Zornes of California, Glenn and Janice Zornes of Virginia, step-daughter-in-law, Nanette Zornes of Missouri, Many Nieces, Nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of other family members.
